Speech is generally given in a public place, due to many of the following reasons:

In our speech there should not be any grammatical mistakes. It should be fluent and smooth. We must not stammer in between. There are 8 parts of the speech: noun, pronoun, verb, adjective, adverb, preposition, conjunction and interjection. This all should be in a proper manner, so that the speech we give is perfect. The part of the speech indicates how the word functions in the meaning as well as grammatically within the sentence.

In other words we can say that speech is a formal talk that you give to a group of people. Here are 10 tips for writing a speech:

Don’t try to put too many ideas into the speech, include the main ideas and points.

Remember, you are writing a speech, not an essay. So write short sentences. Also do not use so hard and big words.

The facts you tell should be believable to people. So do some research. You can use library books or internet.

“Practice makes man perfect”….. Give yourself time and practice your writing. Don’t think you will learn everything in once.

The way how your body language and delivery is leaves your biggest impression.

The audience’s attention will wane after a few minutes. So, keep your speech short and interesting.

At the starting of the speech, do not forget to give your introduction. Sometimes, the speaker does not introduce themselves, or was earlier introduced before coming up to the state.

Structure your speech in a good manner and make it easier for the audience, to hear and understand.

If you want a better speech, good English is very necessary. A high quality English is very important and plays a good role in a speech.

Before u give speech in audience stand in front of mirror and read out your speech. By doing this, your confidence will grow.
